Feelings and Expectations in the time of Covid-19 – Wave 2 _ KIK. and SkyRunner
KIK, in collaboration with SkyRunner, is pleased to present the 2° research on FEELINGS AND EXPECTATIONS AT THE TIME OF COVID-19.
The goal is to understand and track the changes in general feelings and expectations during the various phases of this very delicate period for all of us.
On a sample of 331 respondents, we bring you some highlights :)
- Also in Phase 2 (6-13 May) of the survey, a positive mood was confirmed among the respondents (Average Value 3.41 + 0.1 compared to Sept. 21-28 April), also proven by the increase (+6pts ) of those (51%) who believe that “the worst is over”.
The positive mood is equally (57%) shared by both the 2 UP & CONSUMER targets. - Trust in the government, on the other hand, splits the champion.
For a 39% who have confidence in what has been done, there is a 36% who have none.
The figure – which as a whole is in line with Phase 1 – is further polarized in Phase 2: on the one hand, in fact, the “extremely confident” grow (13% +6 pts) to the detriment of the “fairly confident”, on the other the «not at all confident» increase (16% +5 pts) to the detriment of the «not very confident».
In general, the sentiment of confidence is driven by Consumers who declare themselves so by 41% compared to 32% of UP. - Compared to Sept. 21-28 April, smart working is growing thanks above all to UP (53% +9pt vs Consumer), while it is Consumers who dedicate «much» or «more» time than before to other activities such as news, social, reading, exercising, etc.
- In the short term (within 3 months) it is considered possible not only to see friends, but also to go out for a pizza or an aperitif.
The figure is growing compared to the week of April 21-28 above all due to a greater possibility found among UP.
Longer times (within 12 months) are instead foreseen for holidays and going to the cinema. Note the temporal uncertainty regarding the possibility of using a means of transport such as bus and train.
