Feelings and expectations at the time of Covid-19 – Wave 3_KIK. and SkyRunner
KIK, in collaboration with SkyRunner, is pleased to present the results collected during the 3rd week of the survey.
The goal is to monitor the trends of Feelings and Expectations in relation to the period we are facing.
Here are some highlights that emerged from the sample of 341 respondents:
- Also in wave 3 (Week 19-26 May) the mood of the respondents was confirmed as positive (average value 3.48) above all thanks to the climate of trust and hope registered among CONSUMERS (average value 3.51 +0.14 compared to 2nd Wave). Optimism is also proven by the data according to which 60% of respondents (+9pts compared to 2nd Wave) believe that “the worst is over”
- Confidence in government action continues to divide the sample without significant changes compared to the previous waves. The slight drop in the average value (2.95 against 2.90 in the previous wave) is due to an increase in the «quite confident» (32% +6 pts compared to the 2nd Wave) to the detriment of the «completely confident» (7% – 6 pts compared to 2nd Wave);
- Smart working is confirmed as a prerogative of targets linked to entrepreneurship and management, as is the use of technology in one’s business. These Targets are also those who feel almost safe to resume their work as before. The slight increase in job uncertainty is due to the targets linked to employee employment conditions. In fact, 16% of the latter fear that they will no longer work, double that of the more UP targets.
- As time passes, the situation improves, and government restrictions ease, many leisure activities are deemed feasible in the short term. The greatest uncertainty is confirmed for the use of public transport, going to the gym and traveling overseas.
